About

Brandon Kreitsch

Graphic designer pursuing a BFA at Caldwell University, with a focus on identity design, layout, visual hierarchy, and typography.

My work tends to be structured but I like exploring. I'll revisit earlier pieces and push them somewhere new rather than settling on a look and repeating it. Most of my process starts with sketching to get a rough sense of layout, then moves into Illustrator or Photoshop. I work with grids, limited color palettes, strong contrast, and deliberate use of negative space. Color matters a lot to me — I try to keep it vibrant without it taking over. I'm drawn to modernist work, especially Mondrian's grids, Matisse's color, and Joseph Binder's poster compositions, and also to natural forms like trees and branches. I keep things clean and lean toward solid color over heavy detail. I use AI only for early ideation, never as a replacement for the actual design work.
